I have lived in the North Deering neighborhood since 62. I moved away for quite a while and am back in my childhood home. Could you tell me what year it changed from Dairy Queen to Libs and if the same family owns Libs? It is delicious and I stop frequently...maybe too frequently. LOL I would appreciate a response as to when it changed to Libs. Thank you in advance!

Fastest service ever! They have tons of varieties to choose from including some cookies. Not a fan of their soft serve but do try moose tracks!! A great spot to go with kids.

Libs Dairy Treat is that classic spot you dream about on a hot day. Their soft serve is insanely good super creamy, perfectly swirled, and just the right amount of sweet. Whether you’re going classic vanilla, chocolate, or one of their twist flavors, you really can’t go wrong. The portions are generous, prices are super reasonable, and the whole vibe is nostalgic in the best way. Fast, friendly service too even when the line’s out the door (which it often is, for good reason). If you’re anywhere near, Libs is a must-stop. Simple, sweet, and always hits the spot.

Lib’s is a longtime favorite and it’s easy to see why! There are hard and soft serve ice cream options, and also special treats. I’d recommend getting an Arctic Blast. They do prefer you pay in cash, but card or Venmo is also accepted. I’d check at the counter.

The place was BUMPING the summer evening we visited. Even still, we were able to order and get our delicious ice cream lickety split (pun intended)

This is my childhood ice cream spot. About a mile up the road, now I bring my kids here. The calculus is the same as ever: speedy service, friendly staff, delicious and large selection of options! Long live LIBS!!!
